Step 1: Fill out a Registration Form. Please make sure your emergency info is legible; Include $20 for the registration fee in your total for 2009 registration.
(Summer 2009 ABT dancers are exempt from the fee - thank you! Your support brought us through a long, hot, summer to today. Bravo.)
Step 2: Select the Number of Classes your dancer will take per week from the appropriate level table. There are two separate tables.
1. The Lower Level Pre-ballet/Kinder Tuition Table
2. The Upper Level Table applies to all other levels.
Step 3: Select Your Pay Period.
This week is the First Pay Period of the semester, and it is the time when you may purchase classes in bulk, thereby getting a discount.
Your choices for pay periods this week are:
You may pay for the entire 19 week Fall Semester of classes, therefore getting the best discount;
Or, you may pay for the first Quarter, on the Quarterly Plan; There are two quarters in the fall semester
Or, you may pay on a Monthly Plan. For this plan, the initial "monthly" period is just three weeks long. The next four Monthly Plan Periods will each be four weeks long each. The Fall Semester is nineteen weeks long total.
Bulk discount rate classes may only be purchased during designated pay periods. Classes will not be rolled over into the next pay period. Please make up missed classes within your purchased plan period. I discussed recommended classes for make up classes in yesterday's blog. You can always dance by paying the single class rate.
If you are unsure, you still must register in order to dance at ABT, and then, you may pay the the Single Class Rate which is $16 for Upper Level - $15 for Pre-Ballet/Kinder Classes.
My students know that all classes must be paid for in advance, and that we are not able to take "plastic" at ABT - No credit cards. Please pay with a check or cash.
Special Note: For College Students, there is flat rate of $10 dollar per class, with a Valid College ID. Military ID also qualifies.
We appreciate your patronage, your confidence in choosing us, your enthusiasm, and your love of good dance in a safe, desirable location.
Business done, we will all be able to dance our way into an increasingly graceful, productive, and fun Fall 2009 at Arizona Ballet Theatre where Dancers Dreams Really Do Come True. Did you know that Ballet Dancers Turn Out Better™?
Miss Cecily, Feeling Great, and Wishing All TUSD Students (and Others, too) a Great First Day of this 2009/2010 School Year!
Additional Information
Make sure to register and pay for your classes this calendar week, during this first "ABT Pay Period" when you are able to buy your ABT dance classes at the discounted, bulk rate. Of course, you may always take a dance class at ABT by paying the single class rate.
We are in the First Pay Period which runs from Aug 17 - Sat, Aug 20th. This is a three week period.
Second Period for Fall 2009 runs from Mon, Sept 7th thru Sat, Sept 12th. This is a four week period.
Third Pay Period runs from Mon, Oct 5th thru Sat Oct 10th. Again, a four week period.
Fourth Pay Period runs from Mon, Nov 2nd thru Sat, Nov 7th. Four week period.
Fifth and Final Pay Period of Fall 2009 runs from Mon, Nov 30th thru Sat, Dec. 5th. Four week period. If you will attend our ABT Goes Nuts Party at Studio 301, there will be an additional charge added to the final tuition payment.
Your best bargain is to pay for the entire semester this week. Of course, paying for the 9 1/2 week quarter is also a bargain.
I have instituted this new payment plan for the benefit of the School and its beloved students. This is the first time I have upped rates in several years, and there is a pressing reason. The City of Tucson, in its great wisdom, has allegedly instituted something called a "privilege tax" on dance studios, fitness centers, yoga, businesses and similar health/enhancing operations like ABT. I have been pondering this for a couple of weeks, and thought I would let you know something that might have escaped your busy attention. I digress.
